Craig Bannerman Announces New Single “Ha-Satan - The Covering Cherub’s Judgement”
Craig Bannerman is a solo metal artist that takes the genre and adds his own unique spin of Faith-Driven metal—Bannerman’s music contains deep theological themes and takes inspiration from scripture, rebellion, judgement, and divine sovereignty.
The track explores the biblical role of Satan before his infamous fall from heaven, portraying the inevitability of his downfall and prophesied demise. “The Covering Cherub’s Judgement” begins with bright horns and rich ambient pads that quickly create an evolving soundscape filled with depth. In an explosive burst of action, Craig Bannerman launches the listener into thrashing guitar riffs and racing drums. Taking a classic heavy metal style that verges on thrash and power metal while still staying modern and interesting, soon the song introduces spoken scripture vocals overtop of instrumentals—showcasing a heavy emphasis on powerful lyrical messages.
