Insonika Releases New Single "Embrace The Fire Within"
Insonika just released their newest single "Embrace The Fire Within" on January 31st. The Swedish doom metal quartet explores concepts of toxic relationships and breaking free from that which us back from our true potential in their new track. The band started 8 years ago and its lineup consists of Oscar Flanagan Allerdahl (guitar/vocals), Sebastian Fingal, (guitar/backing vocals), Daniel Englafors (bass), and Simon James (drums).
With their earlier discography taking the form of pure stoner and doom metal, their latest music brings a new iteration to the band's sound–often though of as drifting between genres, with influences from the likes of Gojira, Mastadon, Ghost, and much more.
"Embrace The Fire Within" quickly establishes huge atmospheres with soaring organs, dynamic guitar chords, and addictive vocals. Dark yet energetic soundscapes create a wildly catchy sound with massive, anthemic sing-along choruses. Insonika also showcases a glimpse of their heavier sound with brutal screams, showing the band's deep versatility and leaving listeners excited to hear more from the band.
