Russian Deathcore legends Slaughter to Prevail just released their new single Russian Grizzly In America yesterday, alongside its equally humorous and intense official music video. With the song's release came the news of the band's upcoming album, GRIZZLY, which is set to release on July 18th via Sumerian Records.

The music video for Russian Grizzly In America features an absolutely massive animatronic bear following the band through their daily lives, working out, playing concerts, answering the door, and even training with UFC heavyweight fighter Alexander Volkov. The music video contains some hilarious moments and is a very memorable showcase of the band's sense of humor and personality that we love to see.

You can watch the music video on YouTube below:

Recently taking the top spot as the biggest deathcore band right now, Slaughter to Prevail continues to bring their punishingly heavy sound to massive audiences worldwide. Russian Grizzly In America leans even further into the band's signature unrelentingly intense vocals, explosive drum tones, and crushing instrumental riffage.

Just after the 3-minute mark, Slughter to Prevail introduces one of their most creative breakdowns yet, as dramatic silences introduce calm Russian music that stands out in extreme contrast to the ferocious down-tempo chugging and stand-alone vocals from Alex Terrible that sound akin to the bear featured in the song's music video.

Slaughter to Prevail is also very well known due to Alex Terrible's incredibly metal lifestyle. From wrestling with bears to bare-knuckle boxing and so much more, Slaughter to Prevail takes their extreme influences far beyond just their music. As one of the most exciting and interesting bands to follow in modern heavy metal, we are looking forward to the band's upcoming album, GRIZZLY.

On the upcoming album, vocalist Alex Terrible shares:

I think this is the best album we have ever written. We put so much effort into it. We spent a lot of time on every detail and really poured our souls into the songs. In the past, we were always rushing to finish albums and just releasing whatever we had. This time, we took our time, worked carefully on each track, and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Hopefully it was all worth it.
