The 2025 Grammy Awards took place last weekend on Saturday, February 2nd. Spiritbox was nominated for "Best Metal Performance" alongside Gojira, Metallica, Judas Priest, and Knocked Loose feat. Poppy.

Both Spiritbox and Poppy were nominated for a chance to win a Grammy, but Gojira ended up taking home the award for their performance of "(Ah! Ça ira)," at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

As Spiritbox's vocalist Courtney LaPlante was walking down the red carpet she was approached for an interview and was mistaken for Poppy. As LaPlante went to tell the interviewer that she was not in fact Poppy, she was interrupted and instead decided to conduct the rest of the interview pretending that she was fellow-female Grammy nominee Poppy. What follows is an equally hilarious and awkward interview as Courtney plays along to the interviewer's questions as they have no idea that she is the vocalist of another band.

"I am Poppy," LaPlante says, "And I am really happy to be here nominated with Knocked Loose. I really hope we win."
