The Adam Catharsis Covers Classic Depeche Mode Hit “Enjoy The Silence”
The Adam Catharsis is new musical project formed in 2024 that blends EDM, metal, and dark synthwave sounds into a distinct sound. The acts latest single Enjoy The Silence, a cover of Depeche Mode’s classic 1990 track, was released on April 4th, 2025.
The track starts with thumping 808 kicks before dark synth pads, industrial elements, and bright bells form an intricate and intense soundscape before bursting into familiar vocal melodies that follow along the original track excellently. The Adam Catharsis features guest vocalist Sarah Raven adding a new element to the track as male and female vocals go back and forth, while also harmonizing, keeping things interestingly varied.
In a new twist, at about 2 and a half minutes in The Adam Catharsis transitions into an ominous rising synth as dissonance and chopping pads create a powerfully dark and industrial electronic sound before catapulting the listener into a final anthemic chorus.
